Hodges Family Practice has a very dedicated, welcoming, and focused team. Our team consists of Doctors, Physician assistants, Nurses, Health Coaches, Lifestyle Coaches, and Nurse Educators. We provide 24/7 access to health advice to our patients, and providers are available by phone and via the patient portal with direct messaging. There are 24 hours of direct access to our providers on Fridays from 5 p.m. until 7 a.m. Monday morning.
Hodges Family Practice works closely with the area urgent cares to provide after-hour care and on weekends. Our goal is to prevent unnecessary hospital ER visits. The area urgent care provides a record of your visit for the patient's continuity of care. Hodges Family Practice works directly with all medical and surgical specialties to provide co-management of medical issues. Included in this is mental health care. Randolph County has one primary provider of mental health care, and Hodges Family Practice works with Daymark to provide treatment for mental health issues. In the event of a mental health crisis, they provide immediate walk-in care as needed.

Dr. Beth Hodges
Dr. Beth Hodges, from Ohio, assisted her father, a family doctor, sparking her passion for medicine. After graduating from Wright State University and completing residency, she opened Hodges Family Practice in 1999. She is Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and serves as a Medical Director for Triad Healthcare Network while also working part time for Gentiva Hospice Care.
Dr. Francisco Hodges
Dr. Francisco Hodges attended the University of California San Diego and Wright State University for medical school. He completed his Family Medicine residency in Newport News, Virginia. In 1999, he and his wife opened Hodges Family Practice in Asheboro. He also serves as a Medical Director for a skilled nursing facility and HealthTeam Advantage.
Dr. Irma Santiago
Dr. Irma M. Santiago graduated from The University of New Mexico in 2009 and completed her Family & Community Medicine residency in 2012. Fluent in English and Spanish, she specializes in preventive medicine, women’s health, and chronic disease management. In 2018, she moved to North Carolina with her husband and two children.
Ashley Webster PA-C
Ashley Webster, a native of Asheboro, NC, earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Appalachian State University and her Master’s in Physician Assistant Practice from Campbell University. She returned to Asheboro to practice Family Medicine, enjoying the variety of conditions and patients she treats.

David Herring PA-C
David Herring, a Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C), joined Hodges Family Practice in 2021. Licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board and certified by the NCCPA, he earned his Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Wingate University in 2017. His medical interests include preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and acute care.
